The ‘Works!: July 4th, 2013 on Fayetteville Street and the Red Hat Amphitheater, Downtown Raleigh, NC
Once again, Downtown Raleigh will be the one and only host of the City’s Fourth of July fireworks extravaganza.
When:
July 4, noon to 11pm - THIS IS A FREE EVENT
Where:
Fayetteville Street and the Red Hat Amphitheater
What:
Independence Day Celebration during the day with live music, Beer/Wine tent, kids rides and games, Circus Maximus, street performers, eating contests, food and art vendors, Picnic on Fayetteville Street and much more! Fireworks will light up the sky over The Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts starting at around 9:30pm.
How would you spend your Fourth of July downtown?
I would probably start with a leisurely walk to Benelux Cafe in City Market, grab some delicious locally roasted small batch coffee & a killer Belgian Waffle, bounce over to Epona and Oak and peruse the goods....
